Bought this as live in a cold house but also because weighted blankets are supposed to help with things such as restless legs.
It is soft and definitely cosy. Went for the 8kg because of the dimensions. Could definitely use this for starting weight training.
It is soft on both sides and has generous filling in each pocket.

This is the 2nd weighted blanket I have purchased, The 1st was the cotton one & after a brain& spine injury my sleep hasn't been great, so I didn't expect much from a blanket... but they actually do work! They take some getting used to but once you do you have a lovely cosy sleep. So I have given that one to my teenage son (who loves it) & I got this one that looks so nice too.

My son asked me for a fluffy weighted blanket, so I went in the hunt, this is the only store I could find an actual fluffy one not just teddy feel, actually shocked at the quality for the price (some weighted blanket are double/tripped the price of this one) and I don’t see any issues with the quality of this, I had one very very happy son when I gave him it, no complaints from him so far, I am now after a pink one for my autistic daughter to replace her non fluffy one as was sadly out of stock when I pitched the grey
