Brushed Cotton Bedding

Brushed cotton is cotton fabric that has been gently brushed to create a softer, slightly fluffy finish. This gives it a warmer, cosier feel than standard cotton.

Brushed cotton bedding is made from cotton, but the fabric goes through an extra brushing process to give it a softer and warmer texture. Standard cotton bedding usually feels smoother and cooler against the skin.

Brushed cotton bedding is especially popular during autumn and winter because its soft finish helps create a warmer, cosier bed. It can also work well during cooler spring nights. For more information we have a cooling bedding guide to answer all your questions.

Always check the care label first, but most brushed cotton bedding can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at a suitable temperature. Washing it inside out and avoiding overly high heat can help maintain its softness.

Layer brushed cotton bedding with throws, cushions and complementary pillowcases to create a cosy, put-together bed. Neutral shades keep things relaxed, while checks and seasonal colours can add a warmer winter feel.
