We’d recommend washing bathroom towels at 40 degrees celsius with your favourite detergent and fabric softener, then they can be tumble dried. Every so often to give them a deeper clean, wash them on a higher temperature, however washing on a lower temperature for the majority of the time helps to keep your towels in the best condition for longer as well as saving energy. 

It is recommended that you store the majority of your bathroom towels out of the bathroom, to keep them smelling and feeling nice and fresh. So, we would recommend having the towel you are currently using on a hook or towel rail in the bathroom, then having your spares in an airing cupboard or other storage cupboard will help to keep them fresher for longer. 

A bath sheet is usually 90 x 150 cm, whereas a bath towel is usually 70 x 115 cm. Whether you choose a bath sheet or bath towel really comes down to how much space you have to store your bathroom towels and also your personal preference in terms of how big you like your towel to be.
