I have always suffered from a rubbish sleep pattern. Waking up every 2 hours, struggling to get back to sleep. But lately I have gone through personal trauma and have suffered from panic attacks etc.
I googled weighted blankets and searched reviews and decided to go ahead and order one.
I'm so glad that I did. I'm still not having a full night's sleep but I'm falling back to sleep a bit easier. As I'm up for work at 3.45 a.m I'm definitely not as exhausted as I was before using the blanket.

(6kg) I have Transverse Myelitis in my neck which is causing spasticity in my right leg and arm. Coupled with Restless Leg Syndrome, I was not getting much quality sleep (NEVER more than 3 hours at one time).
My first impression of this blanket was that it would be too heavy for me. This was not the case. The first night using this I managed to get to sleep quickly, and had 5 hours in one go! Hopefully it will get even better as I get used to it.

I had wanted a weighted blanket for a while but like many others, did not want to be spending upwards of £100 on one. This one ticked the boxes price wise. I bought the 8kg (which is the right kg for my weight) and was so looking forward to receiving it.
The pros - it is very well made and clearly great quality. Absolutely no faulting that or the service from OHS, as it arrived within two days.
Here is the unfortunate reality for me. As a prelude, I bought this solely for comfort and not to help with anxiety or any joint/muscle conditions etc as I don’t experience them. I was using the blanket to sleep under during the night. The first night was good; I didn’t notice an improvement in my sleep per se but I generally sleep well and as I say, just wanted it for the comfort of falling asleep under. Following the second night, I awoke with hip and back pain. I didn’t really think anything of it; sometimes you can just sleep funny. Following the third night, I awoke and couldn’t stand up straight as the pain in my back was so acute. Initially I didn’t catch on that it could be the blanket but following a bit of a Google, I have found several reviews (on different brands of weighted blanket) reporting these issues. I did not use the blanket the following two nights and the pain completely vanished.
This is my experience and I do think that I, along with a small proportion of others, just aren’t suited to them. They seem to be very beneficial to the majority but just wanted to make people aware that unfortunately they’re not suitable for everyone. It’s disappointing for me as I really wanted to love it and followed the guidance on appropriate weight etc. Hopefully you’ll have a better experience!

Wanted to try a weighted blanket for a while but couldn’t justify the price if I didn’t get on with them (normally retail at £100+) so delighted when I found this. Loved it for the first and second night but on the third night I noticed the beads inside were no longer evenly spread out, but instead clumping within the squares. No idea how it’s happened but somewhat hinders the overall effect which I’m really gutted with. However, for the price I can’t complain too much but intend to save up a splash out on another one at some point and hope it doesn’t happen again. Definitely recommend if you’re not sure about the blankets though, good initiation and I’m a convert but disappointed by the beads clumping so quickly.

My daughter got this for my birthday. I have fibromyalgia osteoarthritis and slee aponea and quite a few health issues. I realised these can be so expensive else where. Bargain , the 1st night it felt very heavy but the 2nd night my sleep has been so much better. Although some nights I do throw it off as i get a bit hot & yet normally i am always cold.. After shopping around for ages I bought 3 of these blankets; one for myself and the the others for my kids. We all have adhd and heard this might help us to relax etc..anyway, I looked EVERYWHERE and admittedly I bought these because of their cheap price-if they weren’t any good then I wouldn’t of wasted a load of money. I have recently bought 2 of these, firstly a 6kg for my husband, 3ft bed, he used to have nightly cramps in feet and legs, he doesn't have them anymore.
